Search Online Databases

SAILS gives access to a number of databases for its patrons. Some of these databases contain hundreds of full-text magazine and journal articles. If a you do not log into iBistro with your barcode and PIN, you won't have access to the databases.

1. Log in to iBistro.
2. Select Information Resources from the navigation bar.
3. Select Databases Available from Home (if at home)
   or
   Databases Available at the Library (if at the library).
4. The following databases are available for you to search.
   • Biography Resource Center (funded by MBLC)
   • Business and Company Profiles (funded by MBLC)
   • Contemporary Literary Criticism - Select (funded by MBLC)
   • eLibrary (funded by SEMLS)
   • Expanded Academic ASAP (funded by MBLC)
   • General BusinessFile ASAP (funded by MBLC)
   • General Reference Center Gold (funded by MBLC)
   • Health Reference Center Academic (funded by MBLC)
   • InfoTrac Junior Edition (funded by MBLC)
   • Kids InfoBits (funded by MBLC)
   • InfoTrac Student Edition (funded by MBLC)
   • NetLibrary (funded by Boston Public Library)
   • Professional Collection (funded by MBLC)
   • ProQuest (funded by SEMLS)
   • Special Collections Database on MLIN (funded by MBLC)

5. Click on "Full Details" to find more information about the particular database.
6. To access the database, click on or the title of the database.
