iBistro is an Internet access portal that allows you to perform personalized searches that retrieve meaningful, useful results from the Internet and your library's catalog. iBistro provides lists of the latest titles, best sellers, popular web sites, and your library's announcements. You may focus searches on web resources, groups of library catalogs, digital libraries, and online databases. Simultaneous searching, relevance ranking of search results, record information gathering for lists and bibliographies, and the ability to buy, place holds, or recommend titles online are also provided.
iBistro content enriches library catalog records so that you may view, along with the records, book reviews, tables of contents, synopses and annotations, and other specific information about the items. iBistro content may be changed weekly if your library subscribes to content updates.
iBistro includes a special personalization package called MyBistro that customizes the information it returns to you. Using MyBistro in conjunction with My Account, you can set your individual searching and interest preferences, receive lists of new titles of interest to you, and Review My Account, place holds, and Renew My Materials.
