April 5, at 2:00 pm “Oceans of Opportunity” with Michael Lombardi ,
Mr. Michael Lombardi, a Providence area ocean explorer, inventor, and teacher will present highlights of his ocean adventures. Mr. Lombardi is especially well known for his successful efforts in helping Matthew Johnston, who suffers from Muscular Dystrophy, achieve his dream of ocean diving. This effort was presented by Ann Curry in a January 2007 segment of the Today Show. His work has also been featured in the Providence Journal and Providence Business News.
This event is sponsored by the Friends of Attleboro Public Library. Admission is free.

It is part of the spring series of public events sponsored by the Friends.

April 10 at 6:30PM and April 24 at 9:30AM, Write Day and Night will welcome writers who would benefit by joining with a supportive group.

April 10, at 2PM Engineer, Sherman Price, will show slides and lecture on the construction of NYC's famed Brooklyn Bridge Sponsored by The Friends of Attleboro Library

April 19 Sat at 2PM A speaker from The Christian Scientist Monitor, will make an illustrated talk on the history of that unique newspaper to commemorate its 100th Anniversary.

April 25 at 2PM Naturalist and photographer, Ray Guillete will present his slide show using 3 audiovisual projectors to celebrate the beauty and awe of the natural world. "The Power and the Glory" will celebrate moments of awe and wonder in the beauty of the natural world. Co-sponsored by the Rev Larsen Center and Friends of Attleboro Library
