| The Friends of the Berkley Public Library is a group of
interested citizens who give of their time and talents to raise money for the "extras"
not covered by public funding. Their outstanding yearly event is the antique car show
which is held on the Berkley Common each summer. This year's date is Sunday, August 13, 9am-4pm. This eagerly anticipated event draws
vintage cars from Massachusetts and surrounding states. The 2005 car show had more than 200
vehicles competing for trophies. Anyone who is interested in joining the Friends, please
call the Library at (508) 822-3329. |
