2009 Summer Reading Events

Dr. Britney, the Library's teddy bear physician,
provides check-ups for all the bears at the 21st
annual Teddy Bear Picnic. The event featured
a storytime, crafts and a teddy bear parade and

The Kids on the Block perform on the Library's
Elm Street entrance lawn. Families enjoyed the
Kids' entertaining and educational presentation.

The aliens have landed! Children assemble on
the Library's Elm Street lawn for the Alien Parade,
part of the "Out of This World Picnic and Storytime."
Prizes were awarded for the best alien costumes.

Fall River Public Library's Children's Department serves infants through eighth graders with a variety of programs, books, audio books, DVDs and videos, music CDs, book kits, puzzles, toys, pop-up books, magazines, encyclopedias and reference resources.
