Our goals are simple. We want our members to have a great time and to be excited about the Friends. We want to give something back to support the town in which we all live. As always, all donations directly benefit the Holmes Public Library. In addition to traditional programming, proceeds will be used to:
: Support students by working with local schools to build a non-fiction collection that reflects the revised K-12 Curriculum Frameworks : Support new area residents by providing "There's No Place Like the Holmes" Welcome to Halifax Community Packets and Programs. The Friends of the Holmes Public Library is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization. Contributions are generally tax deductible, however you should consult your financial advisor regarding your donation. |
