Book Sale
Our lively annual Book Sale will take place this year on Friday, August 8 from 6 to 8 p.m. for Library Association members, and on August 9 from 10 to 2 p.m. for the general public. Nita Howland, Sue Schwaeger, and Nancy Rolli have been working all year, literally since last August, sorting through the thousands of donations that have been brought in. Often, the bags and boxes come in great waves, so the effort to keep up with the supply is enormous.
However, enough is never enough...We are always pleased to receive new donations right up until the end of July. They will be sorted and stored on shelves and in boxes in our crowded, but orderly, basement. Please bring all items to the back of the library and deposit them in the wooden storage bin. If desired, the Direcotr will provide a letter to be used as proof of charitable giving for IRS filing. As always, we are extremely grateful for all participation in this wonderful community recycling event.
