Internet Policy
· Internet access is available in 1/2 hour segments. · Children MUST have parental permission to use the internet. · Use is based on a first come first serve basis by signing up at the Front Desk. · A second Macintosh computer with attached printer and word processing capabilities is available in 1 hour segments by signing up at the Front Desk. · The library is has Wi-Fi, you do not need a password to utilize this service. |

Christmas Vacation Drop-in Activities: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, December 28th – 30th are drop-in activity days.
· Children of all ages can create thank-you note paper and get hints on writing great thank you notes.
· Learn about Hanukkah and Kwanza while making menorahs and Kwanza placemats with materials available in the Children's Room during regular library hours.
· Celebrate wildlife by reading stories of the season and creating treats for the winter birds and squirrels.
Winter Programs 2010: Every day during the winter has Drop-in Crafts in the Children's Room at the Elizabeth Taber Library. Children of all ages are invited to enjoy the activities.

The Children's Room serves infants through 8th graders, as well as parents, care-givers and educators, with books, magazines, reference materials, books on tape, and video cassettes.

The Elizabeth Taber Library has a year-long subscription to
· The library's license includes the Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia, for elementary school age and beyond; · The New Book of Knowledge, for grades three and up; · Lands and Peoples, geared to middle school students and older; · the Book of Popular Science, geared to middle school and older; · America the Beautiful history and current events of the 50 states.
