Museum Passes

Richards Memorial Library participates in a system-wide museum/attraction pass program. Each library determines its own policy for patron use. Anyone wishing to use our passes must be a registered SAILS patron. The Museum Pass Program is funded by the Friends of Richards Memorial Library. Passes are very popular during school vacations so please plan ahead. If we do not have a pass you are looking for, other SAILS libraries may have it available. You will have to go to that library to pick up the pass.

  • Reservations may be made in person or by calling the library during business hours 508-699-0122.
  • Reservations for a museum pass will be accepted no more than two months in advance of the date of use.
  • Families may reserve one pass per date.
  • Passes may be reserved by phone.
  • The pass may be picked up no earlier than the afternoon (after 12) before the date of use.
  • You must present your library card when picking up the pass.
  • The pass is to be returned to Richards Memorial Library by 10:00 a.m. on the next business day after use of the pass. The pass may be left in the book drop if we are closed.
  • The fine for a late return of a pass is $5.00.
  • Please notify us if you decide to cancel use of a pass so that we may make it available for other patrons.
