 Loud-R Electronic Ear is simple amplification device that resembles a phone. You can use it in conversation with our staff or to better hear the voices around you.


 

SmartView2 is a video magnifier for visually impaired patrons allowing the patron to magnify pages of a book, newspaper, or magazine.   It can also be used for forms, letters, bank statements and more. The print can be magnified onto a computer screen from 3.5 times to 28 times its normal size and has the option of selecting background or foreground colors .


JAWS® is a screen reading software program for blind and visually impaired users. Patrons can access computer applications and the Internet. With its internal software speech synthesizer and the computer’s sound card, information from the screen is read aloud, providing technology to access a wide variety of information.


MAGic software is for vision-impaired computer users.  It enlarges your computer screens, dialog boxes and windows from 2 to 16 times their normal size.


OpenBook is a scanning and reading software program which converts a printed page into electronic text to be read aloud through a voice synthizer.
