| From Fall River, New Bedford and the Cape:
Take Rte 195 West to Exit 5 (Rte. 138). Follow Rte. 138 following the signs
for Somerset. After crossing the Brightman Street Bridge, turn right onto
Riverside Ave (still following Rte. 138). Riverside Avenue becomes County
Street. The Library is 2 miles ahead on the right. We share a parking lot
with the Town Office Building. |
| From Providence area: Take Rte. 195 East to
Exit 4 (Somerset / Lee's River). Turn right onto Lee's River Avenue. Turn
left at the lights onto Rt. 103. After crossing Rte. 6 (at the Brightman
Street Bridge intersection) Rte 103 becomes Rte. 138. The Library is 2
miles ahead on the right. We share a parking lot with the Town Office
Building. |
| From Boston area: Take Rte. 24 South to Rte
79. Take the Rte 6 exit, turning right onto the Brightman Street Bridge.
At the lights at the end of the bridge, turn right onto Riverside Ave (this
is Rte. 138). Riverside Avenue becomes County Street. The Library is 2
miles ahead on the right. We share a parking lot with the Town Office
Building. |
| From Swansea: Follow Rte. 6 East to the Rte
138 intersection (at the Brightman Street Bridge). Turn left onto Rte. 138
. This is Riverside Avenue which becomes County Street. The Library is 2
miles ahead on the right. We share a parking lot with the Town Office
Building. |
| From Taunton, Dighton: Follow Rte. 138 South
into Somerset. The Library is on the East side of County Street (Rte. 138)
approximately 1 mile past the Somerset Water Department / Indian Springs
Plaza Shopping Area. |
