Exhibits, Displays, Speakers Displays: The North Atlantic Radio Club has a display at the West Bridgewater Public Library entitled, "Amelia Earhart Remembrance" with some period artifacts and maps to describe her extraordinary achievements. Amelia was a famous aviatrix and pioneer of flight. She developed the licensing of women as pilots and proved they could accomplish great goals as airplane pilots. The new movie that has come out starring Hilary Swank puts Amelia's storied name back in the headlines. She has quite a following on the World Wide Web. Parents are invited to bring their children to view the display in the Memorial Alcove during Library open hours. The display will be at the Library through March 31, 2010. The North Atlantic Radio Club may be contacted through the Library.
