Exhibits, Displays, Speakers
Exhibits are limited to the Library's Art Gallery and displays are limited
to the Library's locked display case in the front Memorial Alcove. Exhibits and displays
may not be used to promote an individual's political or religious views.
The Library assumes no responsibility for preservation or protection
against damage or theft of any items on exhibit or display. All items are placed in the
Library at the exhibitor's risk. A release must be signed in advance of exhibit
installation.
Policy:
 |
A prospective exhibitor must fill out an application
form attainable at the Library Circulation Desk. Samples should be submitted
for review to the Library Director. Bookings for space should be made as far
in advance as possible up to a limit of one year ahead. |
 | The Library Director will contact the applicant regarding the
disposition of the application and will schedule those exhibits or displays which are
accepted. Scheduling of in-house exhibits will take precedence over other displays and
exhibits.
|
 | The exhibitor will be responsible for exhibit or display
installation, labels, and removal.
|
 | Prices for exhibit items available for sale will not be
displayed. However, a price list will be shown upon request if it is made available to the
Library staff.
|
 | The exhibitor is expected to supply biographical information and
display descriptions suitable for use in a press
release.
