» Circ Map - used to determine the Circulation Rule to apply when an item is charged to a user. When the Checkout wizard is used, SirsiDynix Symphony looks at the circulation maps and finds a circulation map that contains the library from which the item is checked out, the User Profile of the user the item is being charged to, and the Item Type of the item being charged. When the “matching” circulation map is found, SirsiDynix Symphony uses the Circulation Rule assigned to this particular map.
Updated Full Circmap - updated on 11/3/2022. Not broken out by libraries.

» Hold Map -  When a hold is placed, SirsiDynix Symphony finds a hold map line with the applicable Library/User Profile/Item Type combination. A Permission is assigned to each map and determines who may place holds for that item.
